My Girl Review

Hey todays review is going to be My Girl. This drama is now pretty old but it’s very good and entertaining well in my opinion. The TV series started on December 14, 2005 through February 2, 2006. It has 16 episodes and each episode is longer than an hour. This drama was incredibly adorable and the romance was just perfect for me.
Joo Yoo-Rin is the perfect liar and that’s how she gets through her life especially that her father is always getting into trouble and she has to deal with it. She ends up meeting a rich man of the name of Sol Kong-Chan his family is the owner of a very famous hotel in Korea. Kong-Chan’s grandfather Sol Woong is very sick in the hospital he really wants to meet his granddaughter who he has never meet for many reasons. Now he feels like he is going to die so he wants to meet her before he dies. Kong-Chan feels pressured to find his cousin as he tried to find her he was told that she passed away. He didn’t have the guts to tell his grandfather this so he ends up meeting Joo Yoo-Rin at the airport and meets her again later on. He figures out that she is an incredible actress and liar and pays her to act as his cousin. She agrees because she is in the need of money and she gets to live in a beautiful house. As she lives under the same roof of Sol Kong-Chan she starts developing feelings for him and everyday it gets harder for her to lie to his family and to live under the same roof as him pretending to be cousins.

This drama ended up being really one of my favorite dramas. Joo Yoo-Rin played by Lee Da-Hae was just so adorable and I loved how she dressed. Usually a compulsive liar get in my nervous in dramas but she actually didn’t instead she ended up becoming so cute. I felt really bad for Seo Jung-Woo is played by Lee Joon-Gi because he immediately fell in love with Joo Yoo-Rin and before he meet her he was just a playboy so I’m guessing she was a really big deal for him. He also plays Sol Kong-Chan’s cousin. There is this part of the drama were Jung-Woo makes a little snowman for Joo Yoo-Rin because during the whole month of December it’s her birthday so he kind of made it as her present and I thought that scene was just so cute and I loved it so much. In that scene you really see how he cares about her and wants to be with her. A character that was just so annoying was Kim Se-Hyun played by Park Si-Yeon she played Kong-Chan’s girlfriend. At first she decided to leave him to play tennis but she just left him without a word and Sol was so heartbroken over it because he really loved her. She comes back after a year or two and tells Kong-Chan to get back together with her and I thought: what the hell is your problem you broke his freaking heart and you expected him to come running to you. But, he was so freaking stupid and decided to go back with her. His whole family hated her as well and was against the relationship but never really told him to breakup with her. I understand that Se-Hyun wants to be a tennis player but she could have told him to wait for her but no she just left him without a word. But, he slowly starts falling for Joo Yoo-Rin who is way more adorable then that skannk and Se-Hyun starts getting jealous and makes everything so difficult for them. This dramas has so many ups and downs and it gets so irritating but that’s good though I like it when it’s like that because it makes you have so many feelings at the same time. So, towards the end when you think that the main characters are together Joo Yoon-Rin decides to leave because she thought she was making it difficult for everyone and Sol Kong-Chan is once again heart broken. But, he does the nicest thing ever even though Kong-Chan doesn’t see Yoo-Rin anymore he collects snow globes for her every day that snows and when they see each other again he gives them all to Yoo-Rin and that’s when she finally realizes how much she really loved him. Ooo and one of my favorite characters of the drama was Ahn Jin-Ky played by Jo Kye-Hyung. He is the brother of Joo’s best friend. So, he meets Sol’s assistant and he literally goes to the hotel place where she works and just tries to talk to her because he really likes her. Then he gets a model opportunity and the only reason he takes it was to impress the assistant and show her that he is also professional. That story was just so adorable. But, inclusive the drama was delightful, cute, full of sorrow, and just every emotion. In some parts it reminded me of a older version of Boys over Flowers. Rich guy and poor girl at the end they both leave each other for some type of reason. This type of drama is the kind that I am always looking for it has the perfect romance for me.

I give this show a 9 out of 10 monohorns I give it a 9 only because the mean girl was just so annoying at times. Also, because Yoo-Rin freaking left him and I felt she just should have stayed. Lastly, Yoo-Rin’s dad got on my nervous at times as well. But I loved this drama a lot and if you want something cute and romantic watch this drama it’s just perfect. That’s all I have for today thanks for reading my review and this was Ms. Lee Min Ho and BYE!!!!!! Lastly, please read my previous review which was about Roy Kim’s new album Love Love Love and MV.
