My Top Kpop and Jpop songs of August 2013

Hey, its Ms. Lee Min Ho; today i will be doing my top 5 Kpop and Jpop songs of the month of August 2013. I felt that this month was just awesome for kpop i found a new band that i like, a new singer well new for me, and CNBlue release two awesome music videos this month. So, lets start of with my list of this month.

5) In fifth place is a new singer that i just found out about a few days ago. His name is Kang Seung Yoon and i fell inlove with his new song Stealer. It was just made perfectly for me. The song talks about how he loves this girl. How she makes him happy and nervous. He just really loves being around her and doesn't want this time to go. The music video is so perfect  it actually made some sense with the song. You were actually able to see how much he loves the girl and i loved that there were flowers every were it made it look so magical and beautiful. This song reminded me of Lily Allen for some reason it just really sounded like her. I love his voice it makes him sound tough but at the same time so sweat and caring. Everything was so perfect about it and I have nothing bad to say about it.
4) Fourth place this month goes to is CNblue's new song Feels Good. Okay i am not to sure what the lyrics are saying but this is what i think. So all the girls at the part are falling for Yonghwa but he doesn't care about them. He sees one girl and starts dancing with her all night. He tells her that she will fall for him because he is just amazing who wouldn't fall for Yonghwa. I don't really like what  the lyrics say; they really have no great meaning to it, but i love the sound of the song. It just makes me feel so happy and makes me love CNBlue even more. The MV was good not amazing it kind of related to the song because he was partying all night but then meets a bear hahaha. The bear part just made the whole music video great. But i love the song a  lot and its just a super happy song to hear. It is also very CNblue and once again i wasn't disappointed by them.

3) CNblue's One More Time is in third place. This song was way more harder for me to understand once again; i will try my to tell you what it says. Yonghwa and this girl broke up mostly because the girl believed that he couldn't do it. He tells her that he will be able to do it and he is going to show her that he will. He asks her to give him a chance. When i saw the music video and heard the song i just freaked out i loved it and haven't gotten tired of listening to it. Ooo its a jpop song not kpop well band not pop. I really liked the music video because i actually saw them move and do stuff instead of just playing their instruments. I would say that the mv does relate to the song because they are playing poker and they want to show Jungshin that one of them will win. I guess it could relate to the song some way because they want to show Jungshin that they wont quite until he loses. I also, really liked how they were dressed in the video they just looked so cute awww i love CNBLUE!!!
2) In second place its Shinee's Japanese song Boy Meets You. In this song they sing about how they think that all the girls from all over the world are beautiful. So, all of the guys start saying what makes every girl beautiful. I really like this song i think its my favorite Shinee song. Its very happy, upbeat, and the lyrics are just adorable. The song is a jpop song which i always think that their Japanese style is always different from their Korean style. I usually always like their Japanese songs over their Korean songs. Every time I listening to the song and i am reading the lyrics i get a chill because its just so cute. If you haven't listened to it do so right now!!
1) In first place is a new group which i have been obsessed with lately. This group is truly talented; i really hope i see and hear more from them. The group is called Say Yes and the song i pick is called Feel Good. The song is about how they have fallen hard for a girl. They are trying to make the girl theirs and they want to make her realize how much they love her. They say that they cant stop thinking about her and how great she is. This is just really another Kpop or should i say Kband love song but it was done well. I love the sound and vibe of this song. The group is truly amazing and i am excited to see what will happen in their future if you have any information on them please tell me i would love to know.

Thanks for reading my post and i really hoped you enjoyed it. Please check out my previous post which was about Nail Shop Paris Reviewand also check out my last Top Kpop and Jpop chart My Top Kpop and Jpop of July 2013 . I also want to say that i had two favorite albums of this month which was Say Yes Feel Good album and CNBlue's Japanese album One More Time which was great.

Nail Shop Paris Review

Hey it’s Ms. Lee Min Ho; todays review is going to be about a Korean drama that just came out this year. It was a very different drama from the rest I have seen but I enjoyed it a lot but it did have some very odd parts. The drama is called Nail Shop Paris it came out on May 3, 2013 and ended on June 28, 2013. It has 10 episodes in total and it is more than 50 minutes long.  The show had some very emotional /serious parts but some very fantasy like parts.
Hong Yeo-Joo writes novels but lately she hasn’t been able to write good novels. She is heading home then noticed someone saving a person; his name is Alex then she decides to follow him. She noticed that he worked at a nail shop with only guys. She decides to become an intern but the only way she could become an intern is by dressing up as a guy. She asks her best friend to help her and goes to the shop the next day and got hired. Nobody noticed that she was a girl but she is their only for one reason to follow Alex and to make a story out of his life. But then she starts getting feelings towards him and someone ends up finding out that she is a girl. She also thinks that her boss is a gumiho which is a nine tail fox.
People always like or hate this drama because the whole plot of the drama is very odd. It’s not odd because  it’s a gender bender that’s the normal part of the drama but I felt adding the gumiho thing to it kind of messed the drama up. It was just unnecessary to have that pa
rt in the drama it made it seem more like a fairy tale and you couldn’t really take the drama serious, even if it did have serious parts. Let’s, first start off with the main actress which Is Park Gyulee who plays Hong Yeo-Joo she is part of the kpop group Kara. I felt that her acting was good I wouldn’t say great there weren’t any parts that really blew me away. The acting of the whole cast was just pretty normal. I really liked the character Kay played by Song Jae-Rim because he first acts like a cold-hearted jerk but then he is able to show his feelings and show that he really does care. I got kind of irritated with Alex played by Jun Ji-Hoo because he just realized his feelings to late and I didn’t understand why he started liking her in the first place because he never really got to close to her. But there were some good parts of the drama. Like the first episode when a poor man enters the salon with his wife ; he makes her get a manicure to make her feel pretty and happy. The man starts telling Alex his story and says that the manicure is like the wedding ring that he was never able to give her. It just made me cry to so much it was such a great start for the drama and it was really touching. There was another episode in which this old couple can’t be together because the kids of the lady don’t want them together and what makes it worse is that she is soon to die. So the nail salon workers decided to help them. It was such an adorable episode and it makes you realize that you could love someone and have such a beautiful romance no matter what age you are. The drama had these very great parts of it but the only problem was the nine tall fox part which just made the drama seems like a fantasy which it wasn’t really supposed to be a fantasy. But ignoring that part, overall the drama was really good and you got to connect with some of the stories that were told through this show.
I give the drama a 6.7 monohorns out of 10 monohorns because as I have said before the nine tell fox part ruined the drama. It was something that didn’t need to be added to it. But, overall the drama had many serious parts to it and very emotional parts to it as well. If you want to see a gender bender drama with some seriousness in it but some fantasy as well this is it. Please check out my pervious post  Say Yes New Kpop group          . Thanks for reading my review and BYE!!!

Question: What is the weirdest drama that you have seen?

Humm the oddest drama that I have seen I think it's . It was just so terrible and odd; I never want to see it again or even think about it.

Kagerou Days: Hibaya Amamiya

Konnichiwa~
Time for Hibaya’s story! His story begins in Heat-Haze and continues in Moon-Viewing Recital. Hibaya came to the city to attend a summer school with his childhood friend and crush Hiyori. Now there’s something I need to explain before I continue. When Mary left her little house in the forest and met the Mekakushi Dan, she began changing the present reality. Mary, besides her “Eye Contact” ability, has the “Combining Eyes” ability, which is the ability to “unify” all of the snakes. How that’s going to affect the Mekakushi Dan and the present reality is unknown. But we do know how its caused several time loops on August 14th. Now lets continue with Heat-Haze. Hibaya on August 14th is spending a summer day with Hiyori. She chases after a cat she was petting and is hit by a truck. Hibaya looks down at her bloody dead body in horror before someone whispers “This is all real” and wakes up on August 14th. He feels troubled by how similar things are to his dream, he stops her from getting hit the truck, but she still dies. He wakes up again, see’s her die again, wake up again, and so and so forth. He relives that day again and again, as he says “This cycle has repeated for decades. I realized that a long time ago” He comes to the conclusion that the only way to end this cycle, is to sacrifice himself. As he dies, he see’s a white figure, similar to the black one that had been haunting him, behind Hiyori. Hiyori wakes up crying, saying she’s failed once again. From my understanding, just like how Hibaya has seen her die again and again, Hiyori has seen him die again and again, but they only have memory of the days when the other died. They are just like the dark Shintarou from Lost Time Memory, trapped in a painful time loop. Out of all there songs, this is the most intense: the agony of having to watch the one you love die again and again, its frightening just thinking about it. I showed it to Ms. Lee Min Ho and felt a little guilty because she looked so sad throughout it.

Now lets move on to Otsukimi Recital, one of the newest Kagerou Day’s videos. Now in the story timeline/universe, Hibaya and Hiyori were involved in an accident. Both of them died, but Hibaya entered the Kagerou Daze, gained the Eye-Focusing ability, and came back to life with his new red eyes. His ability allows him to see things from a “bird-eyes view”, which I now think is because if he can see from that angle, then maybe he’ll be able to catch dangers before they take someone else from him. After the accident En spots him with Konoha, I”m not sure how much time passes before he joins the Mekakushi Dan, but when he does he catches the attention of Momo. Hibaya has a huge emotional scar because of Hiyori’s death. The fact he couldn’t save the girl he loved haunts him. Though Momo doesn’t know all the details, she wants to cheer him up. The song and video are super cute and touching! Compared to Heat-Haze, the mood is obviously a lot lighter. Its also quite touching because there are sad moments: Hibaya’s guilt, grief, and fear. But he’s determined to become stronger. I was captivated by Heat-Haze, but Hibaya’s character has been a sort of mystery to me. Since he hasn’t come in the manga yet, I didn’t really think about him and his connection to the Mekakushi Dan. After watching this though, I’m eager to see his chapters and his story!

That’s all for today. Though there is a reference to the accident in Konoha’s State of the World, I’m saving that song for my En and Konoha post, along with 2 other songs. Look forward to it.
Bye-bye

New Chapters: Hibi Chouchou and Last Game

Konnichiwa~
I checked Baka-Manga Updates and was pleasantly surprised to see that chapter 18 of Last Game was out and that chapters 30-33 of Hibi Chouchou was out. Alright lets begin:
Kujou and Yanagi have been together since elementary school and he's been in love with her since then.It appears that Kujou-chan feels the same way, sadly she is the densest shoujo lead I've ever seen. Oddly enough, I still really love her. Anyway, she has only just come to understand friendship, let alone love. But when a cute new girl appears, will she slowly start to realize her feelings? Its all about baby steps when it comes to this heroine.
http://www.mangahere.com/manga/last_game/

Hibi Chouchou
The cute and quiet Sumire is in love with the manly and gentle Kawasumi. Though their both extremely shy and quiet, they have managed to confess their feelings for each. But their also both novices when it comes to love, so now what? Dating is whats supposed to follow mutual love, but neither really understand what dating is. What they both do know is that they hate all the guys hitting on Sumire.

Say Yes New Kpop group

Hey it’s Ms. Lee Min Ho; we haven’t been posting lately because we just started school and we were trying to figure our schedule out. We can’t post everyday as we were doing on the summer, so this is our new schedule. On Tuesdays and Saturdays I will be posting. On Thursdays and Sundays Nadeshiko will be posting. Today I will be talking about a new group that just came out in the Kpop world. I have been super obsessed with them and I have loved every single song on their debut album. The groups name is Say Yes. They debuted on July 25, 2013 with their song Feels Good. They consist of 5 members who are really artistic and remarkable.
The five members of the group are Su Bin who is the singer of the group, Sung Kyu who plays the acoustic guitar, Jon Hyoung who plays that drum thing but it isn’t a drum I don’t know the correct term for it, Si On who does play the drums, and lastly Ho Kyung who plays the guitar. When you hear them they will automatically remind you of CNblue, Ft island, and Led apple which I kind of agree. I feel that they kind of sound like Cnblue but different and they move like Led apple. I don’t really see them connecting with Ft island because their sound is really different. Their debut song is Feels Good, which is just perfect I really loved it. It’s a really upbeat song and you get to see all of their kills it’s great.  I really hope to see more form them. I don’t want to hear them being compared to other groups  in the future because they do have their own style and they do have something that separates them from the rest of the bands in the kpop world that’s why I like them. I don’t know much about the group themselves but I do know that they all play at least know how to 2 instruments, which shows us that they really do have talent and worked really hard to debut as a band. I hope to see them in variety shows and see them make more albums. This group is truly talented and I feel they will have a great future ahead of themselves. People are going to hear their music and be like, “that’s very Say Yes like” that’s what I do when I don’t know how to describe CNblue but by only saying, “It’s very CNblue”. So please check this group out and see how amazing they are. If you know any information about them please leave a comment below because I would love to learn more of the people in the group. Thank you so much for reading my post please check out my previous post which is about Nobuto Wo Produce Review

Question: Do you like Say Yes and why or why not? Leave a comment answering this question.

I love Say Yes they seem truly brilliant and left me wanting more.

ARISA

Arisa and Tsubasa
Konbanwa~
Today I’ll be reviewing the shoujo manga ARISA by Ando Natsumi. The manga is 12 volumes in Japan and has been completely scanlated. Lets begin:
The heroine of this mystery story is the bold, brash, and tomboyish Tsubasa whose often mistaken for a delinquent because of bleached blonde hair and tough attitude. Poor Tsubasa died her hair because she thought it be cute and dreams of being a normal school girls who goes to cute little shops with her friends. Anyway, her parents divorced when she was rather young and she was separated from her twin sister Arisa, who went to live with their mom while Tsubasa stayed with their father. They communicate through letters and one day, Arisa invites her sister to come sleep over. Things seem to be going well, until Tsubasa witnesses Arisa’s sudden suicide attempt. She is shocked, having formed this idea that her gentler sister led a joyful and peaceful school life. She wants to know what drove her sister’s desire to end her life, but since she’s in a coma, Tsubasa decides to take her place at school and find out for herself. She soon discovers that on Friday, during free period, Arisa’s class send their wishes to a mysterious figure known as KING.  The mighty KING will only grant one wish weekly and often uses violence to grant it. Also, if someone angers the KING, the class will make sure to erase their existence; ignoring them, throwing garbage on their desks, and other vicious forms of bullying until they finally leave school.. Tsubasa becomes determined to stop the KING and find out who it is, hoping that this will save Arisa since he may be the reason of her attempted suicide. She soon partner ups with one of Arisa’s classmates, Akira Manabe, who also wants to stop the KING and their violent, unjust methods.
The KING manipulates the class, is able to use others as a chess piece to get what it wants, them easily tosses them aside. And the psychological effects they have on the class is frightening.
The story overall doesn’t have much romance, but there is some here and there. The mystery and action itself
Manabe
is entertaining. Even when you know who the KING is, its difficult to understand their motives, goal, and plan. And though Tsubasa isn’t the smartest, she makes progress following her instincts and is brave to face the cruel KING, is determined enough to protect others. Sure sometimes she does fall into the KING’s trap, but she always manages to make up for it, to learn her lesson so that it doesn’t happen again. Something I particularly liked about this manga is the psychological aspect, how the KING affects the class, why characters do what they do. Inferiority complexes, loneliness, twisted love: the mangaka shows you how it developed inside a character and in some cases, how it drove them to near madness. There isn’t much romance in the manga, though Tsubasa does “fall in love” it was more like she was being manipulated. I do enjoy the relationship between Tsubasa and Manabe: they’re partners who take care of each and watch each other’s back. It’s a wonderful friendship and probably could’ve been a great romance, but they never get to that point. Its implied that Manabe has feelings for Tsubasa, but we don’t really know how she feels. I wouldn’t really call it a romance manga, its more about the malpratices of the KING and how Tsubasa wants to stop them. So I recommend reading this manga and seeing Tsubasa’s battle against the cunning and twisted KING.

Kagerou Days: Momo and Mary

Konbanwa~
Today I'll be doing another Kagerou Day's song review. The songs aren't really connected, well they sort of are but that's not why I put them in the same post. Imagination Forest and Kisaragi Attention are both rather straight forward, simply going over the stories of Mary Kozakura and Momo Kisaragi, so I figured a post going over just one of them would be too short. Alright lets begin with Mary-chan:
Mary has been living in a small house hidden in the woods with her mother Shion for years. Since she was very young, her mother has explained that they are Medusae and must never make eye contact with someone, or they'll turn to stone. One day while playing outside a group of humans attack young Mary. Shion rushes to her daughters side and attempts to turn the attackers into stone, but instead is killed by one of them. Mary is traumatized by this incident and grows to fear her power and the outside world. She spends years and years alone in her little cabin, when one day Seto knocks on her door. Imagination Forest was my first Kagerou Day song, it was actually the one that introduced me to the first series. Its sad, but adorable and really suites Mary-chan

Next is Momo's song, which actually covers chapter 3 of the manga. Alright lets begin:
Momo is a popular teen idol, mainly because she has an ability to grab people's attention. But she hates this attention, it alienates her from people and she can't live a simple life. One day she tries to undercover and walk the treats like a normal person. But her covers blown and people go wild trying to find her. She's gradually become more and more depressed about her decision of becoming an idol and hating her strange ability. Then Kido appears. She offers her a membership to the Mekakushi Dan, Kano telling her that her power can be controlled. She meets Mary as well, who was brought there by Seto. She finds people she cares about, she finds friends. And having fun with a group of friends is what she's always wanted.

Hey its Ms. Lee Min Ho so today i am recommending a Jpop song called Everything by Arashi. The song  talks about everything will not everything. I really enjoy this song because its just so sweet and it makes me feel so happy when i hear it. Check it out if you haven't its such an amazing song.

Nobuto Wo Produce Review

Hey, it’s Ms. Lee Min Ho with another review for you today. Today I am reviewing Nobute Wo Produce a Japanese drama. It came out on October 15, 2005 and ended on December 17, 2005. It has only 10 episodes and each were less than 50 minutes long so it was a pretty fast watch. I didn’t dislike the drama but it just wasn’t for me.
Nobuta Kotani is new in school but she is very quit and she has a very gloomy look to her.  Shuji Kiritani is very popular in school and everyone likes him but he can’t open himself up to people. The only person he could actually be true with is his best friend Akira Kusano. They noticed that Kotani starts getting bullied a lot especially for the way she looks. So, Kiritani and Kusano decided to give her a makeover so she won’t get bullied. Throughout the process all three start becoming close friends and Kusano starts developing feelings for Kotani.
I didn’t love the drama I got kind of annoyed with many things of the drama. First of all Nobuta Kotani played by Maki Horikita did a good job. I just didn’t really like her character she was able to open herself up to both of the guys but she still had the gloomy look by the end. I wouldn’t mind if they didn’t change the way she looked but I wish she was happier and had more confidence by the end. It seems that she didn’t because she still always looked down which got on my nervous must of the drama. Shuji Kiritani played by Kazuya Kamenashi also did a great job but again wasn’t my favorite character. It was so obvious that he liked Kotani and I wished he would confess to her but he never did. I felt that he just ignored his feelings which I wish he wouldn’t. But, my overall favorite character was Akira Kusano played by Tomohisa Yamashita he was true to himself throughout the drama. He always knew how he felt and was able to tell Kotani and I truly fell for his characters. What I did like about the drama was that it focuses a lot on friendship and it made it enjoyable. But, it made so many suggestions to romance that I wish it had a little romance in it. School 2013 doesn’t have romance in It at all it was just about friendship which by the end I wasn’t hoping for the romance but of this one I wished that Shuji and Nobuta would have told each other how they felt but they didn’t. That’s what really made me not love the drama.
I give it a 6.8 monohorns out of 10.  I didn’t like it much I felt that the romance was missing. I didn’t like that Shuji wasn’t sure about his feelings and was never able to confess. I got so annoyed by Nobuto I wished you could see the confidence in her by the end of the drama but I felt like we didn’t. I got so annoyed that she always had her face to the floor ahhhh I hated it. The only person I truly liked was Akira he was so confident and sure about himself which made him a great character. But, I did like that it did focus a lot on friendship showing how important it is. So if you want a friendship type of drama with no romance in it at all this is for you. Thanks for reading my post please check out my pervious one which was about Dream High Drama Review.

Question: Which drama did you almost like but it had something important to it missing? Please leave a comment answering  the question and your opinions of the drama.

For me it’s totally this drama if it had the romance and if Nobuto wouldn’t look at the floor by the end it would have been one of my favorite dramas.

Sorry couldn't find a good trailer.

Say "I love you"

Mei and Yamato
Konbanwa~
Nadeshiko-chan here reviewing a cute romance anime called “Say ‘I love you’”. It’s based on a manga by Kanae Hazuki, which is 11 volumes ongoing in Japan; the anime covers volume 1 through volume 7 chapter 28 and is considered complete with a total of 13 episodes. Let’s begin:
Mei Tachibana has had been betrayed by her friends again and again, the most traumatic being when they blamed her for the death of the class pet. Because of that she’s developed a hatred of and distrust in people besides her mother, wanting to be left alon. Then one day, because of a misunderstanding, she round-house kicks Yamato Kurosawa, the most popular boy in school. After this, he takes an interest in her and decides he wants to be her friend. He wants Mei to learn how to trust people and realize that not everyone will betray her, that there are people who will actually unconditionally care about and love her. The story follows Mei trying to grow as a person and her relationship with Yamato.
It’s an adorable love story and it’s easy to relate the Mei, especially for people who have been badly betrayed or people who’ve wanted to grow as a person themselves. She’s strong-willed, though a very indecisive at times but it’s excusable because it’s caused by insecurity and inexperience, not because she’s a weak person. I also love what great lengths Yamato goes to in order to understand and protect he’s crush. Sometimes they misunderstand each other, but at the end of the day you can tell they’re simply an idiot couple.
From what’ve read and what’ve seen, the manga is more 18+ while the anime is 16+. The manga also
Aiko; Mei; Yamato; Asami; Kenji (a total pervert)
introduces characters and develops relationships better, it felt a bit rushed in the anime and there were two or so instances where I had no idea who someone was and was never introduced to them. But I still think it’s a cute anime more than worth watching. That’s all for today. Bye-Bye

Recommendation: News Sakura Girl

Hey, its Ms. Lee Min Ho; i am going to recommend a song today. I just found this song a couple of days ago and really like it. It is called Sakura Girl By News. Two of my favorite people sing this song with other guys which are Nishikido Ryo and Yamashita Tomohisa. The song basically talks about the relation between a guy and a girl. The guys compare the girl to a cherry blossom. They talk about how they meet her and how they cant believe that they didn't last. Its another relationship song but its very cute and sad too. Dream High Drama Review

Hey it’s Ms. Lee Min Ho; todays review is about Dream High which is a Korean drama.  Fun fact the drama was made into a musical in Japan and one of my favorite actors came out in it which is Mizuta Kouki I freaked out when I learned about this fact.  The drama came out on January 3rd, 2011 and ended on February 28th, 2011. It has 16 episodes and each is longer than an hour. I loved this drama more than I thought I was.
I feel that I can’t really summarize this drama. It’s just really complicated to summarize and will take up half of the post because there are many characters to summarize which each is important. So if you want to check out the plot just check it out here  http://asianwiki.com/Dream_High_-_Korean_Drama.

It took me a long time to decide whether or not to watch the drama because I thought the characters were going to be singing the whole time and it wasn’t going to have much meaning to it. But, I was way wrong the songs were great but each character had so much meaning to the drama. I feel that all the characters made the drama and all are needed to make the show as amazing as it is. Okay, let’s start with my favorite character which is Kim Pil-Suk played by IU. I feel that Pil-Suk is such an amazing character in the drama and she really had an impact on me. I just loved her so much she was just so astonishing. I was glad that she was chubby and even though she got judged she still went after her dreams. Also, what made her super remarkable was that she was always super happy and bubbly. She even had the guts to confess to her crush which really made me like her even more. I was kind of disappointed for the reason that she lost weight was just for a guy. I felt that the guy she liked shouldn’t have been her reason to lose weight I feel that she should have been her own reason. But, I just feel that her character really motives the audience to go after what they love even though there might be malicious people and many obstacles it doesn’t matter as long as you enjoy it.  My second favorite character was Jason played by Wooyoung he is Pil-Suk’s love interest. He is just a character that is just perfect he is someone that you cannot hate. I loved that he didn’t care about looks because he loved Pil-Suk for her motivation and her happy personality. He didn’t care if she was fat or skinny. He just saw what was in her and for him she was beautiful not matter what. He is just the perfect guy that anyone wants to be with. Ko Hye- Mi played by Bae Suzy is the main character of the drama she did a great job. I liked that she was really self-centered in the beginning and she really cared for her sister because that was the only person she had. She has many family issues so that created her tough personality but I loved how throughout the drama you see her soften up towards people and start loving what she is doing.  She wasn’t my favorite character especially in the beginning but she ends up being a great person at the end and I end up liking her. Song Sam-Dong played by Kim Soo-Hyun he was just so great I can’t explain, his character was just so happy go lucky in the beginning but slowly he starts become depressed and lonely.  The actor did such an amazing job portraying his character. My favorite scene of the whole drama was when Sam-Dong hearing goes away at times and he has to do this performance- competition thing in which he has to sing but everybody is scared that his hearing may go away while he performance. Hye-Mi tells him that she will help him if that happens by giving him hand signals. He starts performing and right away his hearing goes away and he doesn’t start of well. Hye-Mi helps him and at that point he starts sing with all his emotions and the performance ends up being remarkable when you see that part you will start crying it so heart touching and emotional. There is so much to say about this drama and more characters to talk about but not enough time. These are my overall favorite character and the ones who really touched my heart. This drama is so different from other dramas and even the romance is different. At one point you might think that Hye- Mi might end up with someone but something else happens and I loved that they were able to trick me.

I give Dream High a 10 out of 10 monohorns. It ended up being way better than I expected and it ended up being one of my favorite dramas. It’s so emotional and heartwarming you get close to all the characters. You see what they all have to go through in their life and you get to see all there obstacles. The ending of the drama was bitter sweet it’s hard to explain without giving a spoiler but I cried at the end. I recommend this to anyone so if you haven’t watched it please check it out its incredible. I haven’t seen Dream High 2 and I will not watch I just don’t think it’s going to be as great as the original one and I don’t want to get disappointed.                 Question: What’s your favorite character in Dream High and why? Please leave a comment answering the question and about your thoughts of this drama. THANKS!

My favorite character is Pil-Suk because she is always working towards her dreams even though she might be judged by the way she looks. Also, Jason because he loves someone for the way they are and not their appearance.

Boys, Please Kiss Him Instead of Me

Kae surrounded by Nanashima, Mustomi
Shinomiya, and Igarashi
Konnichiwa~
Nadeshiko-chan here, sorry I'm a little late. I'll be reviewing a new manga called Watashi ga Motete Dousu n da, art and story by Junko. Now before this shoujo, Junko as a mangaka has strictly done only yaoi and shounen-ai. I haven’t read any because I’m not a boy-love fan but I thought it was quiet amusing that this yaoi-shounen-ai mangaka’s first shoujo heroine is a fujoshi (a.k.a yaoi fangirls/boy-love fans). Alright let’s begin:
Kae Serinuma is a chubby 2nd year high schooler and an otaku, specifically a fujoshi. She and her friend A-chan ship their classmates Igarashi-kun and Nanashima-kun, though Kae is obvious more obsessed with it; unlike A-chan who wants a handsome boyfriend, Kae is satisfied with watching a yaoi romance from afar. Then one day, her absolute favorite anime character dies and she’s devastated. She locks herself in her room for a week, refusing to eat anything or come out. Her worried mother and annoyed brother force her out, only to be shocked by how much weight she’s lost and how cute she’s become. When she returns to school her new lovely appearance wins the hearts of Igarashi-kun, Nanashima-kun, and her kouhai Shinomiya-kun, who had treated her rude when she was fat but became gentle when he see’s her new form.
Now in a comedic and entertainment sense I found this manga very amusing and I look forward to reading the next chapter: boys pursuing a girl who has wild yaoi fantasies of them and who’d rather see them go on a date then to go on a date with them.  But in a romance sense, I hate it. For starters, it’s a reverse harem. Reverse harems rely heavily on their bishounens, the girl is usually beyond dense, and in general they frustrate me. Second of all, it’s a very shallow. I’ve seen manga with rather shallow love, but they usually make up for it with the romantic/cliché idea of love at first sight or something. But all of these boys knew Kae before she lost weight and when  she was fat they just saw her as classmate or an annoyance to them. Then after seeing her
Kae lives for seeing moe moments
between two princes
become cute all three of them decide they want her. The only boy I don’t dislike for their shallowness is Mutsumi, Kae’s sempai from club. Not only was he able to recognize new skinny Kae, but he treated it as if it were nothing. He even comforts her by telling her that no matter how she looks outside, she’s still the same person she was before. If there’s going to be a romance, he better be the winner in the end because he’s the only one that I think actually cares about who she is!
Though I don’t expect much from the romance, it’s an entertaining story with a very unique heroine and plot, I really look forward to seeing her reactions to this new situation. Only the first chapter has been released in Japan and only one chapter has been scanlated. That’s all, bye-bye

My Top Kpop and Jpop of July 2013

Hey, Its Ms. Lee Min Ho; so today i am going to do my top 4 Japanese and Korean Songs of the month of July, 2013. I didn't have a lot of songs that i was obsessed with. I just really had 4 songs i liked and i will like to share them with you guys. I did my top 15 song of the months of Jan through June, 2013 so if you want to check it out please click this link My Top 15 Kpop Songs of Jan-Jun.

4) So, in forth place its Lady by CNBlue. The song came out on July 17, 2013 on the Youtube warnermusicejapan. The song is about how the guys is telling a girl that she is theirs and how cute she is. I am not totally sure because i couldn't really find the eng sub. But, i think Yonghwa wants to take the girl to a party and wants to turn her on because he wants her hahaha. That is what i understood about the song. But, besides the lyrics that i don't understand i really like the song its fun to hear. It has a nice beat to it and its a very CNBlue song as soon as you hear it you know the song is their. I cant stop listening to it and i am obsessed with it. I didn't really like their previous Japanese song Blind Love i don't know why i just didn't really feel it but i really felt this one and its incredible.

 3) My 3rd Favorite song of this month is Hey!Say!Jump! Super Delicate. The song came out on 2012 not sure what month. The song talks about how they could only show their true face to the girl they love. They just talk about how they weren't even able to express their feelings or who they were but they were able to show their true selves only to her. They also hope that she is also showing her true face to them and loves them as much as they love her. The song is very good i wouldn't say catchy but i really liked it and i couldn't stop hearing it. This was the song that really got me into this group and i am super happy that i am starting to get into jpop. The song has a really good meaning to it which i love and all the guys are just adorable.

2) My second favorite song of this month was Coffee Shop by BAP it came out on June 27, 2013. So, i didn't first understand what the song meant until i read a comment on Youtube clarifying it for me. The song means so much more; i never ever have heard a kpop song with the same meaning as this song so it just makes it really unique. The song talks about how they are getting through the day without the person they love because she past away. How they try to forget her by hanging out with their friends but then they pass through familiar places that just remind them of her. First of all this song is just super sweet and sad. Every time i hear it i get a lot of guess bumps its just so amazing. The feel for the song its very calming and jazz. Its very different in my opinion from others kpop songs and form other songs they have made. I know for sure this is my favorite BAP song so far and if you haven't heard the song yet you are missing out!!!!!!

1) My favorite song of this month that is just freaking adorable is Led Apple's Gimme Kimi Love that came out on July 16, 2013. I just love this song its to cute and it was just perfect; its a Japanese song. The song talks about how much they love their ex girlfriend; they just cant stop thinking about her and loving her. They want the girl back but they feel its to late. The meaning of the song isn't to happy but its sound super happy; so ironic. I loved that they made their own music video for it and you could see they tried so hard on it which the video ended up coming out perfect. I love that they do so many things so fans could feel connected with them and this music video showed that they are super talented and it did made me feel connected to this group. I wish that more big groups were like this and made little videos just talking to their fans. Loved the song its perfect!!!!

These are all the songs that i loved for this month. I hope you enjoyed my list for the month and i truly loved every song in this list. THANKS!!!!!!!!! Please check out my previous post which was about Shinee Boy Meet U Mv/Pv review.
