The Hours of my Life Review

Hey it’s Ms. Lee Min Ho; today I will be reviewing for you the Japanese drama The Hours of My Life. The drama came out on January 8, 2014 and ended on March 19, 2014. It has 11 episodes.
Takuta Sawada is in  search of a job because he is soon going to finish university. As he searches for a job he meets a girl named Mikako Tabe in a job interview. He gets the job but she doesn’t; they both ended up being friends and then they started dating. Everything seems to be going well for Sawada until one day his hand starts becoming weaker and weaker by each coming day. He then goes to the doctor and finds out that he has ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). A disease that will take control of all his body eventually to the point he won’t be able to move at all or even breathe and eat. He will have to live off a machine. As he finds out he decides to tell no one until it starts worsening.
Disclaimer there will be spoilers
This drama was amazing and emotionally tiring. If you are a normal human with feelings you will be crying by the end of each episode it is impossible not to. Where do I even start with this; first off this drama reminded of the drama 1 Liter of Tears because both protagonist must deal with a disease that  will take away every body movement they have but there stories are both so different and incredible. Haruma Miura who plays Takuto Sawada does best in sad, dramatic dramas he also came out in Sky of Love the movie which was tremendously sad. Sawada’s character is so strong but has a lot of problems, no matter what you always see him with a smile he never wants to cause others problems which is at times good but other times it isn’t. The character that got in my freaking nerves was Shigeyuki Mukai played by Takumi  Saito. I just don’t know whether to hate him or not because at first he seems like a great senpie he worries and cares about Sawada but when Sawada starts dating Megumi Hongo who is played by Mikako Tabe Shigeyuki starts taking interest in her. Then Sawada breaks up with her because he doesn’t want her to deal with him then Saito goes and starts dating her. He knows that his friend has the disease but he doesn’t care I feel like he is a bit selfish and should have known the reason why Sawada broke up with Hongo and should have done the correct thing to back of off Hongo because obviously they both still loved each other. I was actually kind of hoping that Mukai would have told Hongo that Sawada was sick so then Hongo would go back to him but no, he just wanted Megumi for himself.  Also I hated that Takuto broke up with Megumi just because he was sick, I know that he didn’t want her to worry for him and to feel obligated to care for him but if they truly loved each other that wouldn’t matter for her. I also really liked the characters Hina Murayama played by Mizuki Yamamoto and Mamoru played by Mizushima. They were the characters who were there to make the audience laugh when things started getting to serious; there relationship was adorable put perfect. They were well written in and great supporters for their friends.

If you plan to watch this drama, I strongly suggest that you do. It’s amazing and worth watching. It sad but it great and it teach you something. If you like this one I also recommended you to watch 1 Liter of Tears. Thank you for reading my blog, have a great day.

Marrry Him if You Dare Review

Hey it’s Ms. Lee Min Ho and today I will be reviewing the drama Marry Him if You Dare. The drama came out in October 14 and ended on December 3rd of 2013. It has 16 episodes.
Na Mi-Rae has a job she doesn’t really enjoy, lives with her brother, and still has not married. Until one day she meets Kim Shin,  a reporter for a famous broadcasting company; he changes her life and she starts working in that same company as a writer. Before any of this happens she ends up meeting a mysterious woman from the future which she then finds out it’s herself. The woman warns her not to fall in love with Kim Shin. Her future self wants her to marry Park Se-Joo who is the son of the owner of the company.  What is the reason for her future self to come back and warn her and does Na Mi-Rae really listen to her?
This drama overall has a very weird plot and it is not the greatest drama I have seen but for some reason I was hooked on it. The only really reason I started watching the drama was for Yonghwa who plays the character Park Se-Joo. It started of fine I really liked the relationship Na Mi-Rae who is played by Yoon Eun-Hye had with both male characters but I shipped her with Kim Shin played by Lee Dong-Gun who was the guy who she was supposed to obviously end up with but many things happened. I didn’t really like her future self played by Choi Myoung-Gil. She seemed like a totally different person compared to her present self. The present self just wants to do something she loves and doesn’t really care if she falls in love or not but her future self-ended up turning into a women who only cares about money and seems to care about nothing else only that. I really didn’t like her future self she was just annoy; at the end I kind of understood her motives but I was still a bit confused. I would recommend this drama if you want to see something not amazing, this drama is like a break drama form really good ones. Overall the acting was great, I loved Yonghwa’s character, he was sweat, mature, and would do anything for the one he loves he won’t fall in love over materialistic stuff. I also liked Kim shin because he has a rough side to him but then he could be the sweated person to the one he loves. So if you want a drama break with another drama, go for it and watch this one. But I warn you, don’t expect much from the end it’s very disappointing and a little confusing.
Spoilers:

I just want to rant about the ending. First of all I was so mad she didn’t end up with any of the guys even though she went through so much. I really wanted her to end up with Kim Shin but no, that didn’t happen. I was happy that she ended up having a successful career and she didn’t need a man to have to help her with the path she wanted in life; it shows a lot of women power. But I at least hoped that one relationship would have come out of the drama at least with Park Se-Joo and Seo Yoo-Kyung to, they should have shown that even if you mess with the past, if you are meant to be you are going to end up together. I really thought this drama was going into that direction but it didn’t at all. But the future Na Mi-Rae ended up going back to Park Se-Joo future self, so even though, she wanted to separate her past self from Park Se-Joo she still loved him in the future and went back to him at the end of the day. I just  got really confused for the reasoning of her doing so if she didn’t like her relationship with him why make yourself suffer;  that’s why you are going to the past to change things,  aren’t you. This is my  rant for this drama but I would re-watch it again hahaha.

Kagerou Day Update ~ Mekaku City Actors

Konnichiwa~
On April 12th, Mekaku City Actors episode 1 was broadcasted. That night I went to the LA Kpop Festival with Ms. Lee Min Ho, so I didn’t get to watch it that night. But the following day I watched and had to use all my strength not to freak out too badly in front of my family. A new episode comes out every Saturday, the series currently on episode 9. This is supposed to be a 12 episode series, which worries me because I wonder if they’ll be able to effectively end the series with only 3 more episodes. But I’m reassured with how much they’ve been able to do so far. The pace is fast, but it doesn’t feel rushed or messy. The quick, heartbeat-like pacing suites the Kagerou Project well. Everything that has happened so far takes place over of the span of one day, which surprises me each time I remember the fact. I’d find it odder if the manga wasn’t the same. With the flashbacks, it’s easy to forget that the day hasn’t ended yet. And flashbacks are common; there have been a few episodes that have been 90% flashback, which is fine because the history of the character’s is essential. The past has always played an important role in the Kagerou Day series.
Momo's flashback was amazing. It looked beautiful
Once again, the style of the series hasn't been
lost in the anime
The music selection and the animation are perfect for it as well. The only time it got weird was the beginning of episode nine, it become very odd and I really didn't enjoy it. It was only once so far though, the rest of teh time its awesome, it makes it feel like the anime is another one of Jin’s AMVs. And the anime has made use of many of the songs, incorporating them into the episodes seamlessly. I’m a little disappointed that they
won’t be able to use all the songs though. Maybe they will and I’ll be proven wrong, but I’m skeptic about it. I know that Imagination Forest is going to be used next, I hope that Shounen Brave will incorporated somehow as well. And I really want to see Yonbanshi Deceive, but I highly doubt that there will be room, there are only 3 episodes after all. Anyway, the anime has allowed the KagePro fans to learn more about the story. It has especially taught us more about the members of the Mekakushi Dan and their relationships with each other. For example:
  1. Momo was given a beautiful episode that allowed us to see her childhood and understand why she developed such a power.
  2. We got see Hibaya and Hiyori’s friendship, not to mention Hiyori’s arrogant personality.
  3. We learned more about Ayano and her relationship with Shintarou. She really is adorable when she gets embarrassed about her crush on him. We also got see her friendship with Ene and Haruka.
  4. Ayano’s special relationship with Kano. I knew that he really looked up to her, but seeing how attached he was to her is far more powerful than reading about it
Anyway, you also learn more about the conflict of the story and how the heat-daze was created.  Azami created a new world, but she ended up there alone. I originally thought she was trapped there because the world was too unstable and caved in while she was there. But this was not the case. One of her snakes had a mind of its own. This snake convinced her that she should leave her family and live in that world alone. That snake left though and possessed Kenijirou Tateyama.
Alright, this might get confusing, I’ll do my best to simplify it. Each episode of the anime presents two stories. The first one is of the Mekakushi Dan and the other is of Azami, Mary’s grandmother. Azami was a lonely monster until she met Tsukihiko, a human. They fell in love and began a family together. But when she realized that their life span was far shorter than her families, she used the power of her snakes to create a world where they could be together forever. But, she ended up in this new reality alone. The members of the Mekakushi Dan all entered this world at some point and were possessed by a snake. What we didn’t understand before was why the snakes were possessing them at all. He isn’t aware of it, the snake has a mind of its own and acts like his second personality. It takes over his mind and plots. What is it plotting? It

The snakes gather around their queen
Shintarou doesn't have his snake yet though
wants all the snakes to leave Azami’s reality, the heat-daze, and come over to the world. The snakes can’t enter this world without using a body though. When Kano, Kido, Seto, Momo, and Hibaya fell into the heat-daze, they were bodies the snakes used to return to the queen snake.
The queen snake is Mary.
Kuroha called her the queen in Outer Science. I thought he was referring to her power to combine the snakes, but she truly possess the queen snake that all the other snakes wish to return to. Alright, so Kenijirou is possessed by a plotting snake that tore Azami from her husband and child, tricking her into stepping into a world where she would be alone once again. Now this snake wishes to gather all the snakes into the world. That’s why he sacrificed Haruka and Ene, he needed both of them to die and come into contact with the heat-daze to bring over two more snakes into the world. I’m sure he also wanted to do a little experimenting, Konoha and Kuroha are definitely results of it. Through the anime, we learned about another aspect of the heat daze.
 Kido died with her sister
Kano died with his mother
Seto died with his dog
 Mary died with her mother
Momo died with her father
 Hibiya died with Hiyori
Shintarou being bold!
Apparently, the pairs fell into the heat-daze together, but only one of them escaped it. Kido, Kano, and Seto created the Mekakushi Dan as a way to help others who have been possessed by the snake. They also want allies who could help them learn more about the disappearances and who would work hard to help them rescue them. The anime has really cleared up many aspects of the story and has made me fall in love with it even more! I won’t do another Kagerou Day series update until haven’t I’ve finished the series. I don’t know if am going to do one full of spoilers, or one trying my hardest to avoid giving any.

Anyway, chapter 23 was scanlated. Well that’s all for today, bye-byeMomo rejected Kano’s offer, which made Kido sad because she was excited about having a new member. Shintarou and Ene really didn’t understand what he was offering Momo though, both of them thought Kano was hitting on her. It was cute seeing Shintarou act like a good older brother and tell him to stop bothering his little sister. I love seeing their brother-sister relationship, they seemed annoyed with each other all the time, but it’s they really do care about each other. Last time I was curious about why Hibiya hated Konoha so much and this chapter explored that a little. It seems Hibiya has hated him and treated him brusquely long before the accident. I guess it is purely jealousy. ~Nadeshiko-chan

Boyfriend Alarm Review

Hey its Ms. Lee Min Ho, I am finally back it has been months since I last have posted. School has been very busy but we are back this summer!! My review for today is going to be Boyfriends new music video and song Alarm.  I was really disappointed with their new song Obsession the song wasn’t amazing but it was good. I think the music video and their look in it disappointed me, it really wasn’t a new concept it reminded me of BTS which is something already being done. They tried having a bad boy mature thing, I just didn’t like it. It didn’t feel mature and I didn’t like how the bad boy gang feel; they could have done it a little differently something that was actually mature. But Alarm was so different from Obsession I actually really liked it and it was a good way to leave the cute concept and go to the mature concept. It fit them well and there was a manly elegance that wasn’t shown when they were doing their cute concept. I liked the style of the video and how the guys were dressed; they all looked very classy and nice. The emotions they had in the song and video were strong and the audience was able to see it. I also liked the song it was another romantic heartbroken song but it was great. A girl broke up with a guy and he is trying to get over her but he loves her too much. Every day is a  pain to get up because it just the same thing, he can’t live without her. There is one line specifically in the song that I loved which was, “Our memories, amazing coincidence, will all become insignificant” this line relates to all experiences that you go through daily they become memories and one day will not be important at all because good or bad it passes. I love that line a lot.

I loved the concept they had for “Alarm”; they looked like men and have a very elegant feel to them. The song Obsession wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great but the concept they used for this song was so disappointing and it wasn’t elegant and it wasn’t the bad boy feel that I personally would have liked. I hope they stick to the elegant manly feel if they do more albums. I will miss their cute concept but I know they must move on and grow, hopefully they stay in a path I like and if I don’t well too bad but I will always have respect for them. There album is great and super sweat so I hope you guys go and listen to it.

Chocolate Kiss Kiss by Morinaga Milk

Hitomi loves Nana so much!
She's super affectionate
Konbanwa~
As we said, we’ve been very busy lately. After my last final, I felt so relieved, it was wonderful! I got home and read a bunch of romance oneshots, I think it was because I was dangerously manga-deprived. During my oneshort marathon, I decided to read a shoujo-ai oneshot called Chocolate Kiss Kiss by Morinaga Milk.
Now, I’m really not a fan of yuri or yaoi, I think it sexualizes homosexuality, especially yuri. Lesbians are constantly sexualized in the media, treated as a “turn-on”, or something “kinky” or something girls do when they’re drunk and want to act “dirty”.
It’s a disgusting, but sadly common phenomenon in culture. I rarely ever see lesbian couples treated like a normal couple in the media. Anyway, I avoided yuri and yaoi mangas for this reason, until while looking for an interesting oneshot, I saw this one. The story sounded innocent and the cover showed two average girls. I don’t know why, but I decided I’d give it a chance. If there was any sign of perverse, I could always drop it. Then I was amazed: it was a normal romance! A very sad and sweet romance, which I’ll share with you today, let’s begin:
Valentines Day is approaching and the lovebirds, Nana and Hitomi, are excited to spend for their first Valentines Day as an official couple. Nana wants it to be perfect to make up for all the Valentines Days she hurt Hitomi.
When they were middle school, they were close friends. Nana was aware of Hitomi’s feelings for her, but ignored them. She was unable to accept them or acknowledge the love she felt for Hitomi. She finally did though, and they began their secret relationship. Neither of them are prepared to tell their parents, nor their friends at school because they know the love between two girls isn’t easily accepted by society. Despite the secrecy, their relationship is stable and they express their love for each other daily through their actions and words. Despite the pain they’ve felt on other Valentines Days, they are determined to make this one blissful.
The relationship between Hitomi and Nana is beautiful and adorable. Hitomi loves Nana so much and treats her girlfriend so much affectionately, that is impossible to image there was a time she was able to restrain herself. Well, it’s probably because she had to restrain herself for so many years that she wants to hold her precious Nana all the time. Then there’s Nana, who is apologetic and feels she doesn’t deserve Hitomi for hurting her so many times. She works hard to make up for her past mistakes.
The psychological aspect of this oneshot is what impressed me the most. Even though story begins with mutual love, when they talk about their past it’s easy to image their struggles. Hitomi knew she liked girls and
Nana works hard to make up for
all the times she hurt Hitomi.
She seeks redemption.
suffered because she fell in love with her best friend. She spent some much time beside her, but couldn’t flirt with her or attempt to make a move. She was probably constantly afraid of a harsh rejection and losing Nana forever. Then there was Nana, who didn’t know she liked girls. She was in the closet, refusing to acknowledge her feelings for Hitomi and even ignoring the feelings Hitomi felt towards her. She ignored everything, refused to accept reality. They’re very realistic struggles; they suffered and grew from it. There’s also the fact that even though they are in love and are a couple, they still aren’t ready to announce their relationship to others. The oneshot doesn’t end with ‘happily-ever-after’, these two still have to overcome much more in the future as their relationship progresses. But, the mangaka, Morinaga Milk , shows us how much these two love each other throughout the mange, which is comforting. When a couple is truly in love, you really hope that they can overcome anything, you almost believe they can.
A beautiful, slice of life oneshot that changed my perspective on girl-love manga. There are still many of them that sexualize homosexuality, but I’m happy that romance like this also exist. I recommend this to anyone who feels the same way I used to feel about yuris. It will change your mind. Thanks for reading, hope you have a monohorn-filled day.

Kagerou Days Chapter 21

Konnichiwa~
Kagerou Day chapter 21 was released!
Hiyori’s whereabouts are still unknown, but we do learn a few new pieces of information.
1) Konoha has been looking for HIibaya and Hiyori. Since the Mekakushi Dan is indebted to him, they’ve decided to help them find them. He was very happy to have found Hibaya, but he isn’t happy to see Konoha one bit. We know from Konoha’s State of Mind that he was present during the car accident that killed Hibaya and Hiyori, that he was trapped in the Heat-Haze along with them. Is it possible that he escaped and has been trying to get them out of it? I don’t know, that’s just a little theory I have, don’t have too much evidence to back it up. But Ene was unable to locate her, is it because she’s fallen into a different world, trapped in a timeline that Hibaya escaped from? And there's also Konoha's reaction to Hibaya leaving him and Kano coaxing him "At least his alive".
Konoha is so cute in this, he really
cares about Hibaya.
Anyway, Hibaya’s angry towards Konoha was interesting, for some reason I always thought they had an okay relationship. Maybe there was a little jealousy in it since I’ve read that Hibaya is aware of Hiyori’s crush on Konoha, but I don’t think jealousy would explain the disgust and rage of his gaze. Then while watching Outer Science, a theory came to me: in the mv, there's a scene of Kuroha killing each member of the Mekakushi Dan; he pushes Hibaya into the street, he looks at Kuroha shocked and frightened. Well its not really a theory, but maybe Konaha was Kuroha in that time loop without having realized it. It would explain why he look so hateful. Just a tiny theory though
2) Mary has a book that outlines the future of the Mekakushi Dan. Momo in this mysterious book was referred to as “The Captivator”. Apparently it didn’t specify how they would find her, simply that she existed. Mary is the one resetting time and people’s memories, and I wonder if that includes her own. Part of me believes that Mary is very aware of everything, another part of me thinks that it might be a semi-conscious action and that she doesn’t entirely remember. Perhaps she writes what she does remember this book. A book to help her gather her precious friends once again.
Though the chapter didn’t answer too many questions, it did provide a little bit of new information and new questions. I can’t wait for the next chapter. Perhaps Hibaya will reveal Hiyori’s whereabouts, or perhaps he won’t remember a thing.
Before I end the post, I'd just like to mention the Mekuka City Actors, or the Kagerou Day anime, will be released with April. There are already several voice actor teasers. All the voices so far and perfect! I really can't wait for this anime. If you want to check them out, just click on the link
Bye-bye

Puberty Medley Synopsis and Review

Hey guys its Ms. Lee Minho, today I am reviewing a super short drama. I haven’t been reviewing  a lot of dramas lately I don’t know why;  there has just been a lot of kpop stuff that I wanted to talk about. So the drama is called, Medley of Puberty it came out In 2013 July 10th and ended on July 31st, 2013. The drama is only about 4 eps long but more than an hour each ep. It’s truly one of those dramas in which you are super sad that it ends and it is not long enough, a lot more could have been done with it. It was freaking incredible.
Choi Jung-Woo is always moving cities, towns, and schools. His family never settles because of his father’s job. He decided when he was small not to be-friend students because he knows he would eventually move. He moves to a small town and he goes there with the same expectations. He then agrees to fight with Lee Yeok-Ho who is the toughest guy but he is also very sweet and caring if you get to know him. He also decided to accept to sing in the school contest that will be aired on T.V. He then asks Yang A-Young who is the presidents of the class to be his girlfriend and she surprisingly says yes. He does this thinking that he is going to move to Seoul in two weeks but something unexpected happens which makes his time in that school very memorable.
This drama was far fetched; it’s a very simple high drama with friendship and romance.  Simple dramas like this that are good are hard to find once you have been watching dramas for a long time. The actors did an incredible job; the main actor Kwak Dong-Yeon who played Choi Jung-Woo did boundless which this was his first lead role. A scene that I watched which I can’t forget about  was when Lee Yeok-Ho who is played by Choi Tae-Joon is getting beat up for some reasons then Jung-Woo’s friend  Im Deok-Won  played by Kwak Jung-Wook decides to get in the fight remember this kid is always getting bullied and so he gets his ass kicked. At that moment Kwak knows that he should enter the fight to defend the friend but he instead runs always because he just couldn’t do it. Usually we see the main character getting into the fight without thinking about it twice and at the end he is able to beat up everyone. This showed how a high school student really is; it displayed him as an awkward, weak character still trying to figure himself out. He is able to relate to many high school students who are his age. I really liked that he wasn’t that strong 16 year old hero; he was just a normal boy who was too scared to fight.  I liked watching Kwak Jung-Wook act in this drama because he character was totally different from the roles he played in school 2013 and Shut Up flower Boy Band this time he was getting bullied and he look adorable instead of being a jerk.  I also enjoyed the love between Choi’s character and Yang A-Young played by Lee Se-Young; it was a very innocent high school love; an unforgettable one as well. They don’t have to worry about having rich parents keeping them apart they just have to worry about school which in reality that is how high school love is. Towards the end they start having some problems but not super stressful ones like other dramas. What I loved the most about the drama is that my Love Jonghyun from CNBlue came out; I totally freaked. Overall this drama is a great watch.

If you want an innocent, simple, high school love and friendship drama this one is perfect. It is very short and by the end of it you will be wanting more but at the same time you will be satisfied with what happened. The soundtrack was great I enjoyed watching the intro for every ep and I still listen to it. I recommend this drama to everyone so go please go watch it, I beg you.

Kanojo ni Naru Hi Another Chapter 2

Konnichiwa~
Sagara and Narumi, the couple
of this story.
Chapter 2 of Kanojo ni Naru Another came out! Well it actually came out awhile ago…..sorry !
Despite being a pretty late, I want to review it. I really liked it and it would really bother me to never talk about it! So let’s begin:
After deciding to be friends, Sagara and Kurosawa begin spending more time together. Sagara having been a loner most of her life, isn't really sure how to act around her. Plus she's still dealing with the fact that she is now a "she", no longer a "he". She won't even buy a bra because she considers that giving into defeat and letting her past self, the person she's been for so long, disappear.
In the first series, they focused more on the tension between the main characters . Which was done well, but I think it didn’t take advantage of the psychology of emergence. Emergence is a very unique situation and the author does a better job of analyzing the emotional impact of it. Having both Kurosawa and Sagara was smart, it allows you to compare and contrast the experience of two different characters. Even though Kurosawa had the advantage of emerging at an earlier age and seems to have completely accepted her life as a girl, you can argue that liking girls is her final protest.
It wasn’t made very clear in the original series, but its be made clear that emerged boys begin liking boys after some time. I thought it was odd that so many boys simply forgot about their attraction to girls and developed a new attraction for males after they became biologically female. In this series, multiple characters state that its natural to develop such feelings because emergence is a tool used by the ecosystem to ensure that there are enough breeding pairs (Does this mean there aren’t any homosexuals in this
While Narumi got a color-page and
more intimate pose, Kurosawa got this.
I love Sagara's discomfort here though
alternative universe? I have no idea, everyone makes it sound like being a girl means you’ll eventually like boys). Anyway, because of the society the manga depicts, it can be said Kurosawa still preferring girls is a way of rebelling against emergence. Even if she acts and dresses like a girl, she doesn’t like boys and she never will, because originally she, was a he.
I’ve become very fond of her character after reading this chapter, after seeing the depths of her feelings for Sagara. When she first confessed, though I found her an interesting element to the story, I thought her feelings were very shallow, based only on appearances. But she reveals how deeply she cares about Sagara. At first glance, some of her actions might seem selfish, but just wait and see: she’ll prove how much she cares about Sagara’s feelings and well-being. Kurosawa wants to comfort and assist Sagara whose just emerged and is obviously struggling with it.
Sadly, I think her character is going to lose in this love triangle.
Narumi claims his rival is Sagara, but why does he blush so much when he’s around her? He may flirt with Kurosawa, but Kurosawa can never get him to such embarrassed faces. Plus, he had no problem accepting the fact she was an ex-boy, so the fact that Sagara used to be a boy won’t stop him for long.
Kurosawa will become the friend loner Sagara never had, at least that’s my theory.
I hope I’m wrong and this manga isn’t so predictable, even if it is, I’m really enjoying and I hope the rest of you are as well.
Bye-bye

CNBlue Can't Stop MV Review

Hey guys, its Ms. Lee MinHo so today is a great day, CNBlue came out with their new album and music video “Can’t Stop”. There really isn’t any words that would describe how breathe taking, incredible, and unbelievable this music video and song are. I love every single thing about the video and the song itself. Even though, I should have been the girl in the MV buts its fine hahah.  First off, the song is about how he is trying to get over a girl he loved he thinks about her every day and all day. He can’t forget her spring scent but he must live on day by day. But then he doesn’t care to move on any more, he isn’t going to stop loving her and he is going to fight to get her back. Such a remarkable song, his love for her is so strong and he would literally do anything for her. Huhhh Yonghwa how amazing can you be. You can totally hear that this is a song that Yonghwa wrote it’s just very happy in moments and very emotional in others, it’s something that seems like it won’t fit but it does.  I love the music video, I really enjoyed watching Yonghwa play the piano, it was very different but it made him look like a gentlemen. I loved hearing Jonghyun sing; it reminds me why I love him so much. I loved all the flowers that were used in the video especially a part were the flowers were colorless put then when they were watered the color entered into them again. My favorite part of the whole music video was when Yonghwa through a chair through the glass wall because the girl was in the other side. I got so many goose bumps during that scene and I started tearing up, I practically cried when I saw the video with eng sub it had more meaning when I was able to understand the song. Also seeing him break the glass shows how he would do absolutely anything for the ones he cares, he would fight every barrier that is put upon him. Everything was astonishing about the video and it was worth the wait, now I must listen to the whole album which I am sure it’s stunning. If you guys haven’t checked it out yet, what are you waiting for, go watch it now!!!

CNBlue Can't Stop Teaser 2 Review

Hey its Ms. Lee MinHo, today CNBlue’s 2nd Teaser came out and their album preview as well. So the first teaser tricked me into thinking it was a ballad but then this one, it started off with a boom literally the boys flew a little backwards when the teaser started. Now it has more like an uplifting tone, it starts of sad and emotional but then it gave this “I want to move to this song” tone. I feel that they both fit perfectly well with each other even though they are so different. This teaser had a lighter tone then the first one and a more innocent but still mature feeling to it. The boys are dressed to elegantly and look freaking beautiful. I am so excited to see Yonghwa play the piano I think that has been my favorite part of both teasers. It was boundless, they are going to have an amazing comeback; I am so excited!!!!! Especially to see them perform live. The preview of the album was marvelous, every song sounds like a CNBlue song their style is still in them but they are giving of a very graceful and developed vibe to all the songs. I also love the album cover it gives of a very classy London look but as well a magical look like Alice in Wonderland. This is all I have for today the next review will be the best one, it will be the review of their actual MV, I know it’s going to be unbelievable so go and support the talented guys.

CNBlue Can't Stop Teaser 1 Review

Hello its Ms. Lee Minho, CNBlue’s “Can’t Stop” teaser came out today and it was truly beautiful. Every single thing about it was perfect besides the girl that came out which should have been me hahaha. The new song is going to be a ballad which I am excited to hear the full version. The sneak peak that was given of Yonghwa’s voice was magnificent. It started off with the whole group in this very dark setting with roses around them and feathers falling around; it gave out a mature, elegant,  mysterious and a wonderland impression . It goes to a white setting and this girl covering herself with curtains and playing with a blue rose. You see yonghwa who looks sad holding a flower bouquet. Everything in those scenes has this very pastel and white color scheme giving it an enriching, pure atmosphere to it. Then Yonghwa comes out playing the piano so for this song he isn’t going to play the guitar which is something totally different but I am excited to see. Then it goes back to the guys all looking up and they look very sensitive and handsome. This song is going to be very passionate and very different from the rest of their comeback songs. I can’t wait to watch the actual video the first teaser was perfection. So guys if you haven’t checked it out go and do so right know!!!

My Top 5 Kpop songs of January, 2014

Hey kpop lovers it’s Ms. Lee MinHo; today I will be doing my top 5 favorite songs of January. The year started off with a great start in kpop, in my personal opinion. B1a4 made a comeback with their new album “Who am I” and Royal Pirates came out with their mini album which I love!! Also the new K-pop group under the same company as crayon pop debuted and I fell in love with them especially Ato and G-Low; they are so adorable .So these are my top 5 songs for the past month:
5) The song that comes in 5th place is Song Eun Yi & Song Seung Hyun age and height. I adore the words of the song, the tune, and the music video everything is incredible about it. Song Eun Yi sings about how age and height shouldn’t be important all that matters is how she wants to love. Even though she might be older and might be short she still has charm and beauty. But then Song Seung Hyun comes in and tells her that it does matter. A man only focuses on a girl’s beauty and if she is young. A guy wants a girl calling him oppa and that now a days a man and a woman are 12 years apart. But then Song Eun Yi tells him that when a girl gets old everything is going to be the same, all women are going to age. I admire what she is saying but then what Song says is sad but  true maybe not all men might believe that but a lot do. Even though they might say beauty doesn’t matter at the end when they see a girl they do judge them. But at least Song Eun Yi still has hope and she is freaking adorable and beautiful;  FIGHTING!! I am pretty sure that she could get all the men. I also loved the MV they were making fun of a lot of music videos that came out last year such as Sunmi "24 Hours", Miss A "Hush", Trouble Maker "Now", Exo "Wolf" & "Growl", 2NE1 “Missing You”. I loved it so much and out of the music video I grew fondness over Seung Hyun sorry Hong Ki and Minhwan hahah.

4) VIXX “Only U” I know that this song came out in November but I got so obsessed with it during the end of December and the beginning of January. I love it so much; it’s one of those songs that you have to listen to over and over again. I also started to become a small VIXX fan, especially after seeing one of their variety shows. It’s about a guy who his friend sets him up on a date so he could get over his ex-girlfriend. He goes on the date but all he could think of is his ex-girlfriend. He explains that throughout the date the girl slowly starts looking like his ex. She asks question and talks about herself, he tries to listen but he can’t because all he can do is think about his ex. He starts feeling like a sinner because he is just playing the girl on the date while thinking about someone else. I really like the part in which they sing, “What do I care about the most? I really hope she doesn’t ask me because my answer is you” my heart melted when I read those lyrics, they were the cutest but saddest thing I have heard in a song. The lyrics were perfect and you could hear the pain on their voices as they were singing and it showed how impeccable they sing. Listening to this song, made me love Leo and Ken because they sing so beautifully and remarkable. You could really hear their voices stand out and the emotion they put into the song. The music video really reminded me of B.A.P “Coffee Shop” It has this very calm and jazzy feeling to it which I love ooo and also this it just finished raining type of feeling as well.
3) I fell in love with this group I mentioned them before; they are amazing and deserve a lot more fans, they are K-MUCH!!! With their song “Good to Go”. Their song gives of this army type of feeling for me and even the lyrics. They are fighting for something so they must be careful and can’t quit. What I got form the lyrics is that they are in a relationship and that no matter whatever happens they will stay together, they must keep their head straight and keep fighting. It’s not the typical love song it’s more like, “we are together so we are going to do anything to stay together”. I love it though. The music video starts off kind of weird but adorable and Ellin from Crayon Pop came out. She was like the queen of the group which I loved. The song is stupendous and the albums stupendous too. So go and listen to them because they are an incredible group and I hope to hear a lot more from them.
2) B1A4 “Lonely” I have been waiting for them to come out with another song like “Tried to Walk” and they did. I was so delighted to see them again and they truly did a marvels job, not only with the song but as well with the whole album. It about how jinyoung is trying to get over his ex-girlfriend; practically everything he sees and touches reminds him of her. He can’t walk or live normally without her; it’s a very painful break up. The lyrics are very typical for a kpop song but the song itself has a different feel and sound to it. It’s a B1A4 mature song in my opinion which I love when they have their mature look. They did a phenomenal job I love the whiteness of the video, I also really liked win Jinyoung ties a ribbon around the girls hand so she won’t leave him or float away from him. Their album was spectacular as well so check it out if you haven’t.

1) Royal Pirates “Drawing the Line” I just can’t stop listening to it. This group is so incredible and they worked so hard to be in the position they are in at this moment. The song talks about how the girl they like hurts them a lot but they don’t care because they love her. She pushes them away but they don’t care because they are coming back no matter what. Even if they get scarred or poisoned they don’t care. I love the line that they sing, “more love, more pain” I love that because in any type of relationship that you are in you are going to receive pain. This line sums up everything about love hahaha. I love the video as well, it is them performing, shooting a music video, and trying to flirt with other artist but they just end up failing. I love the end of the music video; I almost cried, I couldn’t believe it because BBB (Busker Busker Brad) came out. This video was so far the best.

CNBlue Can't Stop, Love is... teaser English translation and review

Hey guys its Ms. Lee MinHo; so I am freaking out right now so badly. CNBlue just came out with their first teaser called “Love is…” for their new album “Can’t Stop”. It is magnificent; they all explain what they believe love is. I will tell you what each said and my thoughts on what they said.  I translated in English from someone who translated it in Spanish.

Yonghwa said: “Love is very sweet but it can be very painful and when there is a separation it is more painful like chocolate.
What Yonghwa said was so perfect and very proper. Love is something that could make many people happy but then it will hurt you and those around you.

Jonghyun: Love is like a question that is looking for a solution?
I just don’t even know what to say to this. It’s very true; people who love are looking for the solution which is the other person they love. They want to know how it feels and how to experience it. It was such a short statement but so heartwarming and honest.

Minhyuk: Love is like wind; even though you can’t see it, when rain or snow falls, you can feel it. That is the case with love.
Love just comes unexpectedly when people don’t see it at all but when it comes you could feel every single bit of that love.

Jongshin: Love…. Is when you give everything you have.
This is my favorite quote from all the guys but I loved all of them. I feel that this one is very accurate; if you are truly going to love someone you must put all your energy and soul to that person. That’s why love becomes valuable.

There album teaser was beautiful I love how everything was white. It gave this feeling of innocents but then it gave the guys a feeling of maturity; that they understand what is around them. The background music which might be from their album brought me chills and it was perfect for the feeling of the teaser. The guys were just hanging out taking pictures but what they were saying was so intelligent and amazing.  I can’t wait for their next teaser which is on February 19, 2014 in Korea meaning it’s on the 18th in America. For sure I am going to review it so please check it out when it comes. Thank you guys so much and please go support CNBlue they are truly an amazing and inspiring band.

Kagerou Days Chapter 20

One of my favorite chapter covers
Konbanwa~
Kageoru Chapter 20 came out!!!
A new time line with a new course of events!
The Mekakushi Dan always come together though. Kido discovers Shintarou crying because he can’t afford to buy his precious soda and Momo runs into Kano, Konoha, and Hibaya in her desperate search for him and Hiyori. She wasn’t too happy with them though, Konoha holding an unconscious Hibaya.
The courses of events of this timeline are still very unclear. First of all, remember how in the first timeline Momo, Kido, Kano, Mary, Shintarou, and Ene defeated the terrorist? In this one, Konoha did it single-handedly, which is amazing. Haruka wanted a strong body, he’s wish definitely came true (but the price was Kuroha). Anyway, how did he meet up with Kano? We know from Konoha’s State of Mind that he witnessed the accident that killed poor Hiyori, and Kido told Shintarou and Ene that they were looking for Hiyori and Hibaya, perhaps Kano found them and Konoha during or after the accident. That’s my current hypothesis, I’ll have to wait for the next chapter to see if I’m right.
Kano trikes his signature pose. Momo
meets the Mekukashi Dan once again
Anyway, I’m so happy that Hibaya has appeared, I really love his character. He’s an arrogant child that tries to act more mature than those around him. He’s a real prince that loves and cherishes Hiyori: I loved in the last chapter how upset he was that he wasn’t going to spend the day alone with her, super adorable. Sadly, he’s first love is cursed. We’ll probably watch him experience much grief, heartbreak, and pain in the next few chapters, but that’s part of the membership requirement for the Mekukashi Dan.
All of them have suffered, it’s the only reason they have those red eyes. At least Momo will be there to comfort him, help him grow strong. I really love their relationship, whether its romance or friendship, and I
look forward to seeing it in the upcoming chapters.
Seeing Konoha, not Kuroha, was amazing. He hasn’t said a word yet, but knowing he will in the next chapter and the promise of him interacting with the other characters, hopefully Ene and Shintarou, is so exciting! I want to learn more about him, I really do. I know what Haruka was like, but Ene isn’t exactly like Takane, so I don’t think he’ll be exactly the same either.
That’s all for now, hopefully we get a longer chapter next time, 22 pages is too short!

Bye-bye~

God Lies.

Natsuru, Rio, and Yuta have a life changing
summer break
Konnichiwa~
Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day
I wish had some Martin Luther King Jr. manga for the occasion, but as far as I know, there is none. I did bring a beautiful slice of life though. It’s my first and is called Kami-sama ga Uso o Tsuku. by Ozaki Kaori. I actually started this manga a while back, I rediscovered it yesterday and have no idea why I didn’t finish it, its one of the best series I’ve read, its style is very similar to Koe na Katachi. It’s a short series, complete with one volume long with 5 chapters. It has been completely scanlated, and I highly recommend checking it out right now. And I hope this becomes a movie soon because it would a freaking amazing movie. Anyway, let’s start like I always do, with the plot:
Natsuru Nanao is 11 years old and is about to begin summer break. Ever since he turned down Hime, the “leader” of the girls in his class, on Valentine’s Day, she and her followers have been ignoring him. But since he’s just an 11 year old boy, he really doesn’t care and can live a happy life as long as he has soccer. But that’s ruined for him after his kind old coach is hospitalized and replaced by a mean one, a guy that takes elementary school soccer much too seriously.
Rio began Natsuru's coming
of age journey
Anyway, before summer break begins, Rio Suzumura suddenly talks to him, making a brief comment about the curtains being clean. He doesn’t think much of it, simply surprised to have a girl talk to him at all. Later in the night, after he finds a white kitten, he runs into Rio and her younger brother Yuta. Since he can’t keep the kitten, he asks if she possibly can. Yuta jumps with joy at the idea, but Rio quickly reminds him that they can’t afford the living expenses. He offers to pay for them, wanting to find the cat a home. She agrees and they end up going to her home, where he discovers her secret: Rio and Yuta live alone. She explains that he father is away for work and begs him not to tell anyone because they don’t want to be separated from their
father and sent into a foster care. Though shocked and confused, he agrees.
With this, a bond grows between the two and thus they begin a fate changing summer together.
Well I really should say all three of them, since Yuta is also part of this journey. Though some might not consider him an important character, I was really fond him and his energetic spirit. I also loved the strong bond he shares with his older sister, whom he obliviously loves, respects, and relies on. Which is natural since Rio is a very reliable child. Though she’s only 11 years old, she can run their household efficiently and is the mature person needed for their survival. Both of them are very strong, having experienced much pain and heartbreak that children should never have to. Despite her air of maturity, Rio is still a child and shows her more gentle and cheerful sides to Natsuru as he grows closer to the family of two. Natsuru has the heart of a hero. He’s a rather mature for a child as well, his mother Ritchan often busy with her manuscripts for light novels. They have a very good relationship though and he’s lived a relatively normal life up until now. He’s a kind and protective, someone very good at taking care of others. If he cares about someone enough, he will do anything to protect them, even if it means ruining his reputation or getting in trouble. He is also a very bright person, someone who Yuta and Rio have fun with.
One of my favorite covers
He also has this wonder to him because he has such big dreams and seems very passionate about them.
This is his coming-of-age story, you see him learn about the unjust things that happen in this world and experience his first love.
Though the series is short, the plot isn’t rushed or anything. The romance is moves at a good pace, a slow growing innocent love between Natsuru and Rio. The only thing missing is maybe the ending. I would’ve liked a scene or two more. Besides that, it was an beautiful slice of life (I seem to be seeing a lot of these lately) and I really hope it gets published in English so I can buy it. I give it a perfect 10 out of 10 monohorrns. It deserves it, having nice art, lovable characters, and a realistic, sad, and amazing plot. Again, I highly recommend it. A coming of age story in which a child realize, even God lies.
Bye-bye
