Hey, it’s Ms. Lee Min Ho and today I am here with another
review. I am reviewing a music video from a Korean Solo singer. Her name is Lim
Kim and I was so excited to see that she debuted a couple of months ago. I have
been so obsessed with her because she has a very unique voice. Her newest music
video is called Voice featuring
Swing. It came out on September 8, 2013. This isn’t my favorite songs compared
to her other songs but it was still so beautiful mostly because she has such an
astonishing voice.
Let me
talk a little about Lim Kim first before I actually start reviewing her song
and video. Kim came out in Shut up Flower
Boy band and she was L’s love interest. When I first heard her voice I just
feel in love with it and I tried looking for her music but nothing really came
out. Then months later I heard a very distinctive voice that sounded super
familiar and I knew right away it was her. I freaked out and thought to myself,
“In finally she debuted”. Her voice is just too great not to be heard by others,
I am kind of disappointed because I feel that she isn’t being heard as much as
she is supposed to. But she will eventually gain the fan base she deserves. Her
song was really lovely it was about how the voice of the guy she loved brought
her to so many emotions and memories. Every time she hears that voice she feels
something, she feels the love she still has for him. I feel that this song is
so relatable for many people who have been in a relationship because there
voice is something you hear every day and when you break up with your loved one
that’s something that you suddenly stop hearing. So when you hear it again, it
starts bringing back so many emotions that you never thought you would get
again. I really loved the lyrics the only thing is that I didn’t really like
the rap part. That’s mostly just me because I don’t like rap so it didn’t
really catch my attention. The music video was great I loved the parts when the
earthquake started happening because in the song that’s when she starts getting
the feelings and stared remembering him again. So when the earthquake happens
you can imagine it as her heart beaten or how she feels. I really can’t explain
it but that’s why you must watch the video.
The video was very simple and I enjoyed it. I also liked the song
because it’s very mellow and calming so it’s something nice to hear at the end
of the day. I didn’t enjoy the song much compared to her other songs because it
was slow it was to calming for me but I feel if I keep on hearing the song I will
start liking it more and more eventually
becoming my favorite song.
I
give her song and music video a 7 out of 10 monohorns because I didn’t love the
tune of the song much but I know I will sooner or later start really liking it.
I also didn’t like the rap part because it took the mood away from the song and
I don’t like rap myself. So if you like rap or don’t mind it this part wouldn’t
really be a big deal for you. But
overall I liked the meaning of the song mostly because it’s so relatable. I really
liked the simplicity of the song as well and music video. I encourage everyone
to listen to Lim Kim because her voice and her type of music are very unique
and different from what kpop is traditionally known for. I am listening to her
2nd Mini album and it’s just great so check it out. That’s all I have
for today please read my pervious review which was Sky of Love Drama Review. Thank you guys so much!! And bye!
Question: What’s your favorite
song from her newest Mini album? Please leave a comment answering this question and your opinions on Lim Kim. I will love to hear them.
Hey it’s
Miss, Lee Min Ho; so todays review is going to be about Infinite’s New Music Video Destiny.
The MV came out on July 15, 2013 on the YouTube page woolliment. It is part of their new mini album called Destiny that just came out. I really
liked the song but the Music Video did not really go along with the song.
Basically,
the song is about how the guys made their loved one suffer and she
is about to
leave them but they don’t want to break up with her. In the song they are
telling her not to go because they really love her and they are destined to be together.
So,
first let me talk about the song. I loved the song it was really different from
what they make in my opinion. I can’t find the right words to describe the song
but I really enjoyed it. It didn’t really have a 80s feel compared to Infinite’s usual stuff. I loved how it
did feel like an action type of song and it had strong emotions to it. It did
sound as the guys were suffering for the girl and it also sounds like they are
going to try everything in their power so she won’t leave them.Okay, now the music video I
have very mixed feelings for it I felt that the music video didn’t match much
with the song. I wish that they at least had a girl that they were trying to
find or something but no it was mostly just them singing and dancing. There
were some parts that made no sense not even to what the song was saying. Like
the part where Sungjong had his “mirror self” in front of him. In my mind I thought
were did this come from I was just so confused I didn’t understand why he had a
clone and then the other him ends up dissolving into dirt; the song is talking
about the girl you don’t want to lose not about finding yourself and then
turning into dirt and being sad yourself left. There was also a part were Sungyeol’s
hand was burning maybe it had a really deep meaning to it or just made the
music look cool. In my head the only logic for that was to make the MV look
cool and not make sense or he is in pain because he wasn’t able to reach the
girl he loves. Then L explodes which I found that very odd; I just thought maybe
he explodes because he his super angry that he couldn’t find the one he loves.
The MV didn’t make sense but I liked that they seemed isolated and lonely
because it made it seem as if they are saying, “Without you I feel lonely and can’t
live like this”. I also, liked the part where Dongwoo is just driving around in
his car maybe just thinking about her and trying to figure out something to
bring her back. I really liked the way they looked in the MV they looked really
manlish and I loved how natural their hair looked; it just really fit them and
made them look handsome. I was very surprised seeing Sungjong because he
usually looks pretty girly and this time he looked like a man which I liked
haha.
eave them and you get that
feeling without seeing what the song is really saying. I really enjoyed it and I
hope I also enjoy their whole album which I yet have to hear. I liked
I give
their MV an 8 out of 10 Monohorns because the MV didn’t match the song at all
which kind of got in my nervous. Also, I
wish they had a girl in the MV so they could be chasing her and trying to find
her. If they had done that the video would have made a lot more sense to me.
But, despite that there were some parts that I did like from the MV like
Dongwoo driving around and how they seemed isolated from the outside world as
if they are suffering without the girl they adore. I also did really like the
song and I am pretty sure it’s a song I won’t stop listening to hahaha.
Overall, I feel the Infinite fans won’t
be disappointed and will enjoy their new Mini Album which I just finished listening
to and I loved. My favorite song was Mom because you could see they put a lot
of emotion into it. I hope you enjoyed my review and please check out my
pervious review which was about Hana Kimi
Remake. Thanks and don’t forget to check out Infinite’s new MV Destiny.
Question: What is your favorite song of their new album? Please
leave a comment answering this question and your opinions on their new MV.
Hello
its Ms. Lee Min ho, so today I’m reviewing Shut Up Flower Boy Band. The drama
came out on January 30, 2013 through March 20, 2013. It has 16 episodes and
each one is about 50 minutes long. I really loved this drama it was so
adorable.
Shut Up
Flower Boy Band is about a group of 6 guys who have their own rock band that is
called Eye Candy. Byung Hee the main singer of the band has a dream to be able
to become famous one day but some unfortunate events happen that he couldn’t
really fulfill his dream. The groups of guys end up having to transfer to a new
school so they end up going to a rich type of school. In the school they are
practically hated by everyone especially another band called Strawberry field
who becomes their enemy. But they end up meeting a girl named Im Soo Ah. Byung
Hee considered her his muse and falls in love with her immediately. Kwon Ji
Hyuk, Byung Hee’s best friend doesn’t really like her at first. Many things
happen in this drama especially in the first episodes that you don’t expect at
all. This drama is based on friendship and romance also everything is being
tested between friends and love interests.
First
off this drama was so freaking good. I didn’t expect that I would like it as
much as I did. The soundtrack was just so good and I’m listening to it right
now. The second episode was just so amazing and I freaked out. (SPOILER ALERT)
I was so mad when Byung Hee played by Lee Min-Ki got ran over and the freaking
Strawberry field people beat him up ahhhhh so mad. As, the episode was ending
and he got ran over I kind of started laughing because I didn’t think it was
real until I saw the third episode. Then, when I saw it I started crying
because he actually passed away and I think people will get attach to the
character so much because I did. (END OF SPOILER). I also thought that the
relationship between Kwon Ji Hyuk played by Sung Joon and Soo Ah played by Jo
Bo-Ah was just so cute especially when he is singing to her through the phone I
just loved that. I also loved the relationship between Lee Hyun Soo played by L
who is in the kpop group infinite with Ye-Rim playing herself and the song they
sing was so cute it is called Like U Love U so cute. I can’t find anything that
I actually hated about this drama well only Jung Ma-Ro who was a total jerk to
everyone. His face just annoyed me I really disliked him and just wanted to
kill him not really but still got in my nerves. I think everyone acted so well
especially Lee Mi-Ki I wish I was able to see more of him I just loved how
happy go lucky his character was. He really stood out for me from all the
characters.
I give
this drama a 9 out of 10 monohorns I give it this rating because I didn’t
really liked how it ended because at the end the band failed and nobody really
became famous except for L. I understood that it wasn’t everyone’s dream to be
in a band towards the end but I wish they had more fame. I felt that they just
gave up on what they liked. But overall I liked everything about it and it had
awesome bromance. I just love dramas that have broamance like School 2013. And,
it had perfect amount of cute romance. So if you want to see a drama about high
school, band music, bromance, and romance this drama is for you and you better
watch it. This drama does not have the same plot of flower boy next door and
flower boy raymun shop. People always ask me if they are all about the same
thing but they are not maybe the same person created all of them I don’t know.
So thanks for reading my review please check out my previous blog which was
about Akai Ito. Thanks!!!!!
